Here we see the sea algae and a few coconut palms - there is a forest of them here.
Very few, even from PR, get to see Mona Island - less than 0.0025% - why?
It's 3 hours at 3am from Cabo Rojo at full speed in a small boat, but if the sea is
bad it will be cancelled or worse - it will be vomiting and stomach pain the whole way...
The Island has no electricity, communications or water in most places, it is DEADLY!
The interior is a hot, hot, hot desert - many have died of dehydration there.
Now thanks to the Sierra Club of PR we were able to go back (I have been many times).
I am so glad to share this unique wonder with all and specially with the Puerto Ricans in the mainland and anywhere else.
